Tomgirl Kitchen is an eatery and wellness oasis that makes healthy everyday eating a celebratory and inspired experience. Co-owned by two working moms, and located in a revitalized industrial area of Burlington, VT, with a commitment to sustainable consumption practices and community building.
Tomgirl began as a small cart and the back of a vintage pick-up truck.
It was a one-woman show, from start to finish. Every juice was made in my kitchen, and on a casual day I would wake up at 4am to start juicing cases of fresh, whole fruits and vegetables with my old-school manual juice press. I wandered around Burlington, talking endlessly about juice to every passerby under the summer sun.
The first day I sold one juice, and that was all it took; Tomgirl was born.
We now own a brick-and-mortar that employs a wonderful staff and offers a full menu as well as a direct-to-consumer shipping operation, and are hoping to expand in the near future!
